I Got Paid .36 to Take These Items Out of Walgreens Today

Well, this is pretty much like getting paid to shop! I used two coupons on this deal plus some rewards I had on my rewards card. I had a store coupon for the paper plates and they were .99 each. I had a store coupon for the soup and they were .89 each. I found the Dove chocolates ($2.00) and the Lindt bar ($1.49) on clearance and the Snickers were $3.00.

If you have a rewards card and use it at Walgreens, you rack up points. I had 10,000 points and that was worth $10.00. So, after everything was added up, taxes were added and the $10.00 in rewards was taken off, everything in this photo cost me a total of $2.64. And then I have this $3.00 off coupon for next time I am in the store (must be used within two weeks). So, I was ultimately paid .36 to take this out of the store! That's the way I like it!

Save up to $20.00 with Walgreens Jingle Cash!

Every year around Christmas, Walgreens has Jingle Cash. You can save up to $20.00 with Jingle Cash. See the below chart:
I bought $50.00 worth of merchandise last week and I will use this $10.00 off coupon this week. I also purchased an item that will be free to me after using this $2.00 rewards coupon.
To make the maximum savings, I browse the Walgreens flyer and find items that I need and am getting low on. This way, I make sure the items I get are on sale in the first place. I find if you do not do this, you may be going through extra work and not really saving anything.

So, step 1: Browse Walgreens flyer and make a list.

If you do not have a Walgreens Rewards card, you will need to sign up for one. I have mixed feelings about rewards cards but I do have one for Walgreens.

Walgreens has losts of rules for using the rewards cards. One big thing to remember is you can't use any rewards and gain rewards on the same transaction. For example, if the flyer says you can gain 2000 rewards points on a purchased item, you won't gain those points if you are using jingle cash or spending any rewards at the same time.

Step 2: Get a rewards card and remember you cannot GAIN and SPEND rewards on the same transaction. Your Walgreens may also have other rules so check with your store for all terms and conditions.

I find that regardless of terms this still can be a great deal.

Step 3: Buy your items.

Step 4: Get your Jingle Cash and NOTE THE EXPIRATION DATES. These will not be honored after they expire.

Step 5: Get the new flyer the next week and buy sale items with your Jingle Cash on the correct dates.

You should also note that Walgreens has coupons on their website that you can clip right to your Walgreens card. Just remember the rewards rules. You can do this system all year long with Walgreens minus the Jingle Cash.

Happy Savings!

Using Coupon Books to Save Money

Every year, I try to find one of these types of coupon books. They are often sold as fundraisers for youth groups or other organizations,so the first good thing about buying a coupon book is you are helping a worthwhile organization! This year, I was having trouble finding one so I put out an ad on our local Facebook page where things are bought and sold and asked if anyone was selling one. Fortunately for me, a friend of mine saw I was looking for one and one of her daughter's friends was selling one. We met, I gave her $20.00 and voila! Coupon book! Last time I bought a coupon book, they were $10.00. Everything is going up!

This is a thick little booklet. The coupons, in my opinion are very hard to use as a booklet, so I sift through the booklet and take out the coupons that I think I will use during the year. I put them in little packets for areas or restaurants so they are easily accessible. There are freebie coupons, massage coupons, haircut coupons etc etc. I will definitely get more than $20.00 worth of coupons out of this book!

This is a win/win/win. The kids raise money for their groups, the businesses get frequented and I save money. It doesn't get better than that! Happy Savings!

If You Love Using Tons of Coupons, This Blog is For You!

A person used to be able to get coupons on ebay for shipping and handling costs. Apparently the manufacturers didn't like that so ebay stopped doing it. I had gotten a few sets when I went through a coupon phase. I still use coupons sometimes, and so I ended up on this list. This is an email list done by one of the people who used to put sets together for ebay. If you are interested in LOTS of coupons, you can obtain them here. Just write a note to the email address below and Dana, the owner, will put you on the list. If you would mention my blog to Dana, I would appreciate it!

Here is the latest newsletter:

Kameelyon's Coupon Outlet

Thank You!

Thank you for your business and friendship in 2014!  Happy New Year!  I never thought the end of eBay would create such a wonderful group of people as customers and friends and I am very thankful!

I have been working very hard to ramp up and streamline my service to take better care of your coupon needs:  Better equipment, Better shipping, More Inserts. and More!

My Apologies!

A few months ago I made a change creating a dedicated email address to better serve your needs.  This caused many of my emails to go to your spam folder.  Big Mistake, I have corrected the matter and switched back to KameelyonsOutlet@GMail.com

Better Shipping!

  • I guarantee delivery of all orders!
  • All orders ship First Class FREE!
  • Tracking available for $1.75 on any order!
  • Orders $15+ have FREE Tracking!
  • Upgrade any $15+ order to Priority for $3.00!
  • Orders $50+ have FREE Priority Shipping with Tracking!
  • Priority Express (Overnight in most areas) is $18.

New Packaging!

On a less exciting note I have started using Stamps.com which creates a very BORING envelope that looks like JUNK MAIL but prints with barcoding that helps the post office deliver.  If it helps coupons get there faster I am all for it.

Larger orders ($15+ or 3.5oz+) will ship in the grey plastic envelope that many of you have already seen and Priority orders will ship in the appropriate USPS envelopes.

New Insert Sources!

I have developed new sources for inserts to make sure we get the best version each week!  This has also helped us to avoid the price increases you can see online.

New Shipping Schedules!

Since the Inserts will be coming from different sources, they will be arriving to me on different days of the week.  It is quite the process but I can ship out 99% of orders the following morning.

When you receive a list from me it will have the shipping day listed.  This is the day it ships out to you.  You will receive the list well in advance of that day so you can order the hot coupons 'before' they are listed online.

The shipping day will be correct 95% of the time, occasionally a one day delay will occur and I will advise everyone when that happens, this is usually around a postal holiday which slows the inserts arrival to me.

I will always be shipping out 'around' the date the coupons come out in the Sunday paper.  Some sources will now allow me to ship out on Saturdays!  Rare occasions will allow for Friday!  Others will ship on Monday or Tuesday and on rare occasions Wednesday but you will always know what day your order will ship before you place your order :)

New Pricing!

If the pricing does not make sense right away do not worry too much about it and please feel free to email me any questions you might have.

Please also feel free to submit the order you would like and then take a look at the invoice, it may then make more sense and if you do not like it you can always change it or cancel it as long as you do it prior to the ship date :)  I am not a tyrant and will not be enforcing the 'letter of the law' while we all adapt to this change :)

Coupon prices are increasing online.  Manufacturer's are desperately trying to end services like mine and the online websites you know.  I am working hard to make my service valuable to you and bring you the best value possible for your coupon needs while remaining more anonymous than conventional websites.

Pricing is still tiered; the more you buy the more you save!
The price you pay Per Set is now determined by how many 'DIFFERENT' sets you purchase as well as how many 'TOTAL' sets you purchase in 'one' shipment from 'one' insert.  One set is still $2.50 and you can pay as little as $1.60 per set.  Order just 3 different sets and your cost will only be $5.85 with free shipping!

Orders from different inserts are priced independently but qualify for shipping discounts if shipping together :)  Obviously if they are shipping together they ship on the later scheduled shipping day :)

Using the chart is simple:
  1. Top Row is the # of TOTAL sets you are ordering.
  2. Left column is the # of DIFFERENT sets you are ordering.
    1. To qualify as a 'Different Coupon Set' in the pricing structure you must order at least 33% (1/3rd) of the coupon you ordered most of.
    2. 1 set Axe, 1 set Tide, 1 set Progresso=3 different sets
    3. 4 set Axe, 1 set Tide, 1 set Progresso=1 different set
    4. 3 set Axe, 1 set Tide, 1 set Progresso=3 different sets
    5. 15 set Axe, 10 set Tide, 4 set Progresso=2 different sets
    6. 15 set Axe, 10 set Tide, 5 set Progresso=3 different sets
  3. You may order any number of any coupon sets, this just determines the price per set :)

How I Got $93.13 Worth of Items for $35.96

This time of year, Walgreens has some really great deals. All year long they have a number of freebie items but they seem to have more this time of year, plus they have jingle cash. You pay for your freebie items and then within 2 weeks need to use the coupons they give you that add up to the amount the items were worth. Three of the items in the above photo were free. These are:

1. The chocolate probiotics worth $7.00 for free.
2. The toothbrushes worth $2.98 for free. There was also a free toothbrush in the package as they usually have 2 to a package.
3. The vitamins were worth $10.00 for free.

The essential C was buy one get one free, so what would have been $18.98 was $9.99.

The Closys (which I use for the teeth regimen you can read about on another of my blogs) is normally $13.99 but was $10.99.

The Purex is normally $3.99 but was 2/$6.00.

As for the Silk milk and the bananas, someone gave us a $10.00 card  for Kwik Trip last year for Christmas and I rarely go to Kwik-Trip. I was driving by one yesterday so I got the milk on sale 2/$6.00 and the bananas for .38/lb. Then, I had two $1.00 coupons for the silk milk so the whole sale cost $5.63. I used the card so I got the stuff for free plus I have some money left on the card.

Then, because I spent $50.00 at Walgreens (before coupons), they gave me this to use next time I come in (it has an expiration date!) for $10.00 off. I counted that as $10.00 off this order.

Everything I bought with these coupons and the like was on sale or buy one get one free. When I have freebie coupons to use, I don't think "This is all free so I should just get what I want!" I still carefully choose every item to be on sale so I get the most for my dollars possible.

So, the total for all these items was $93.13 but in the end, after I use my $10.00 of jingle cash, I will have paid $35.96 for a total savings of $57.17.
